Angela Hong - Radiation Oncologist Print
Angela Hong MBBS, MMed, PhD, FRANZCR, is a radiation oncologist at Royal Prince Alfred hospital. Dr Hong graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994. During 1996-1997, she performed laboratory research on radiosensitivity at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York and the University of Davis, California. This research culminated in Dr Hong being awarded the Master of Medicine degree from University of Sydney in 1998. In 2001 she was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and was the recipient of the Kaye Scott Prize. Her research interests continued at the Radiation Biology laboartory at the Royal Prince Alfred hospital, forming the basis of her PhD, which was awarded in 2004 by the University of Sydney. Her clinical interests include management of melanoma & skin malignancy, haematological malignancy, bone & soft tissue tumour and radiosensitivity. Image
